Call of Duty: Warzone, one of the most popular battle royale games right now, will be coming to mobile devices. The plan to create a mobile version of this game was announced on Activision’s official Twitter along with job listings that will be needed to complete this project.

The job postings don’t really give us much information about the game itself, but it is clear that they will be connected to the development of the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone. However, one thing that is clearly stated in the Twitter posts, is that the game will be developed natively. What this means is that it is not going to be a direct port, which means that the mobile version of Warzone will be different from the original.

Additionally, the Twitter posts clearly stated that the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone will entertain gamers for “years to come.” This basically means that we can expect to see regular updates and changes to this game, similar to what is being done in the PC and console versions of this game.

You might get the feeling that all of this sounds familiar, and you will be right because there is already a CoD battle royale game that is available on both Android and iOS. However, Call of Duty: Mobile is simply part of the franchise and it was not developed by Activision’s own studios. This game was made by TiMi Studio Group which is also responsible for making Pokémon Unite. Call of Duty: Mobile was launched back in 2019 and remains one of the most popular mobile games of all time.

Naturally, it is currently unknown when the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone will be launched or even what it’s going to be called.

What do you think the new mobile version of CoD: Warzone will be like? Do you think your smartphone will be able to handle it? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
