Among Us is a cross-platform multiplayer game released in 2018. Inner Sloth developed it for iOS and Windows, and in 2020, it was ported to Nintendo Switch. The company also works on the versions for Xbox. 

Fear and Loathing in Space

Among Us was inspired by classic board games like Mafia. This is a psychological thriller that will force you to try on different roles, bluff, and be extremely convincing at the same time.

It's a funny confrontation between good and bad guys. The good ones need to keep the ship running and trust nobody. The bad guys should kill as many teammates as possible. Up to 10 people can play so that you can set up a game with one or two impostors. The game is not for the faint of heart because if you play an impostor's role, you cannot give yourself away.

A separate entertainment is to run around the ship in search of the desired location with a task. There are three cards in the game, and until you have studied them inside and out, you need to be as fast and focused as possible. The tasks for the team are not tricky. The main thing is to figure out precisely what they want from you. For example, you need to refuel the engine or fix the wires.

The game features 2D graphics made in a cartoon style. At the beginning of the game, you can choose funny masks for the players and the color of their spacesuit. You can even buy yourself a whole suit or a pet to run with you. 

The game suits for live parties and remote playing with your friends. You can play it many times in a row, and you will not get bored with it, as there is always tension in it. The most exciting part of the game is the suspects' discussion in the general meeting in the chat. In a public forum, everything depends solely on your ability to speak the truth or truthfully lie.

The Best Solution for an Online Party

Among Us, this is an excellent alternative to board games if for some reason you can't get together with your friends live. Through this game, you can chat, develop deduction and acting skills if you are an impostor. The technical side of the game does not spoil the impression, although there are some problems. Perhaps over time, you will get tired of playing, but this will not happen soon because unpredictability is one of the main advantages.
